Local bowlers off to nationals

Two local youth bowlers from Partners Billiards & Bowling will be competing on the national stage.

A total of 20 youth bowlers from Partners competed in the third step of the YBC National Championships tournament at the Northern Ontario Provincials on May 7, 2022 in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Capturing a Gold Medal was Heather Parry, Maliya Wilson and Coach Tom Williams in the Bantam Girls Team Division

Capturing Silver Medals in their category were Brady Philbert, Clark Boivin and Coach Ginette MacLean in the Bantam Boys Team Division. Gabrielle Boivin, Adora Keir and Coach Tom Williams in the Bantam Girls Team Division. Sadie Tremblay in the Junior Girls Singles Division. Austin Sands, James Mantha and Coach Michael MacLean in the Senior Boys Team Division

Capturing Bronze Medals in their category were Savannah Aultman in the Bantam Girls Singles Division and Xavier Lafleur in the Senior Boys Singles Division.

After a two-year absence due to COVID, the YBC Nationals is returning on July 10-12, 2022 at Neb’s Fun World in Oshawa Ontario.  This will be the 9th time in 12 years, bowlers from Partners Bowling are participating at the national stage in a YBC tournament.   Heather in her 2nd year of bowling and Maliya in her 5th year of bowling will be attending for their first time where they will bowl up to 19 games in a 3-day period.
