The St. Joseph Scollard Hall Bears broke a 2-2 third period tie and held on for a 3-2 win over the Chippewa Raiders to claim the 2022-23 NDA Hockey title at Memorial Gardens on Saturday afternoon.
The Bears took game one of the best-of-three championship 5-3 on Wednesday to force Saturday's deciding game.
William Tysick scored the game-winner in the final frame. Tristan Perry and Noah St. Jean had the other Bears goals.
Dillon Trapper and Landon Boulet scored for the Raiders.
The Bears are coached by Tyler Miller while the Raiders head coach is Greg Richardson.
