The North Bay Athletics rebounded from a disappointing 5-4 loss to the Timmins Technosub Rangers this morning and defeated them 6-2 Saturday night at Pete Palangio arena.
Mathew Pepin had two goals for the Athletics while Joel Senecal added three assists in the victory.
The Athletics win evens the best of 3 playoff series at 1-1, with the deciding game taking place Sunday morning at 11 a.m. at Pete Palangio arena.
The winner of the series will tackle the Northern Ontario Bantam AAA regular season champs, the Sault Ste. Marie Junior Greyhounds.
