WUNSCH, THORA (nee FRAYLE)

At the Mattawa General Hospital on Friday January 11, 2008. Predeceased by her husband Henry August 30, 2007 and son James April 7, 2004. Survived by her daughter Helen and daughter-in-law Vicky. Also survived by her grandchildren Jacquie, Ethan, Braun ( Ashton), Courtney, Casey and great grandchildren Henry and Hannah. Thora was born July 17, 1939 in Kentville, Nova Scotia and moved to Kiosk in 1950. She worked at the veneer plant briefly then moved to Pembroke where she worked in the hospital kitchen until June 1, 1957 when she married Henry Wunsch at 17 years of age. Thora and Henry lived in Lively, Ont. for a few months while Henry worked in the mines then they moved back to the farm to eventually take over. Thora lived the rest of her life there.



At Thora’s request there will be no visitation. Cremation at the Forest Lawn Crematorium. A memorial service will be held at the Eau Claire Missionary Church on Saturday January 26th at 10:45 am. Spring interment at the Calvin Cemetery. If desired donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Mattawa General Hospital Building Fund would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
