The Williams family sadly announces Janet’s death on Tuesday May 7, 2019, at the age of 88 years. She was the devoted and beloved wife of the late John “Jack” Williams, who predeceased her in 2002. The proud and loving mother of Charles “Chuck” and his wife Trina Miller, of Corbeil, and Michael and his wife Katharine Murray, of Stirling, Ont., she will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Heather (Sean Sali), Blair (Sam Hesse), Jack and Samantha. A dedicated wife and mother Janet was a nurse by profession and cared for patients at the Civic Hospital and Leisure World. In keeping with her wishes her body has been cremated. A celebration of her life will be held in the Emmanuel United Church Hall, on Saturday June 8, 2019 from 1:00 - 3:00pm. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Fund, or the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to Marty Funeral Home.
