Passed away peacefully on Monday, December 9th, 2024, at the Algonquin Nursing Home surrounded by her family. She was 84 years old. 

She was the beloved wife of O'Neil (predeceased in 2013). Loving Mother of Paul (Lucie), Omer, Maurice (Wendy) and Lyse Dumont (Francis) all of Mattawa. 

She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Crystal (Bob), Eric (Johnathan), Patrick (Devin), Marc (Laura), Mathew, Braxton (Pam) and her great grandchildren, Kendra, Thomas, Paisley, Xavier, Bentley, Kolby, Kaedyn, Karver. 

She will be missed by her sister June Nadeau, and brothers Neldo, Lionel. 

She was predeceased by her parents Edward and Delina (Levesque) as well as her siblings Evelyne Belanger, Jerome, Albert, Maxime, Madeleine Nadeau and Roger. 

Amanda worked as a homemaker, and at the Algonquin Nursing Home for 13 years. She was a great cook and baker, well known for her meticulous housekeeping and she loved flowers. She devoted herself to her family as they meant everything to her. She also had many wonderful travel adventures with O'Neil.

A special thanks to Dr Williams/Dr Redhead and to the Algonquin Nursing Home Staff for the wonderful care and attention you gave our dear mother. A special mention to Auntie Georgette and Chantal for your help and caring during our times of need. 

A funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Anne's Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, February 15th, 2025 at 11 am. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer's Society will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy. Condolences may be offered online at www.martynfh.com.
