It is with immense sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Joyce Marion Turner, on February 24th 2025. Joyce was a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother, as well as a supportive sister and friend. She was a kind and giving soul who would have done anything and everything for those she loved. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved spending time with them and was never too busy for a sleepover, to make a craft or to answer a question.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Danny, her children, Terry (Angie Gauthier) and Tanya (Nathaniel Morrow) and her cherished grandchildren, Elizabeth, Rylan, Mackenzie and Landon.
She will also be deeply missed by her siblings, Peggy, Allen, Connie and Mark as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends who became family. Joyce was predeceased by her mother, Lena Laporte (nee Landry) and her siblings, Linda, Laurie and Shane.
Joyce dedicated her life to her family. She was the glue that held us all together. She loved fiercely and freely. She was selfless and gave everything, not expecting or needing anything in return. Her absence will be felt deeply by all who knew her.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at the Temiscaming Legion on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025, at 3:00pm.
