Bob peacefully passed away on his own terms at home on Monday, August 26, 2024, doing what he loved best, playing the stock market. Born March 27, 1952, to Bunny and Lucy Turgeon (both deceased), Brother Maurice (Tony)(both deceased). Survived by his loving wife Carolyn, stepchildren George Bates (Kelsey) of Fredericton, NB, Tracey Hubbs (Mike) of Leander, Texas, Grandchildren Georgie and Millie Bates, half-sister Judy (Butch) Clement of Callander, nephew David Turgeon and nieces Kelly (John) Ranney and Shelli, aka Mouse (Mike) Clement. Born and raised in Callander, Bob loved playing hockey as an average goalie. Many will remember him as operator of the tow truck from Bestway, and past owner of Wasi gas bar. Bob enjoyed many winters in Florida, and he has many special friends there still. He will be missed by his fur baby Gaby and his fur buddies Bowie, Ellie and Bjork.

As per Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation at McGuinty Funeral home in North Bay on Saturday, August 31 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm with a short prayer service to follow In the McGuinty Funeral home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to All Heart Pet Rescue (Powassan).
