Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family at Cassellholme-Home for the Aged-on Wednesday August 7, 2024, at the age of 100 years.
Virginia was the beloved wife of the late Ernest Trudel. She was the loving mother to Elise Groulx (Raymond), Alfred Trudel (Jacqueline), Rachel Giroux (Normand), and Diane Chaylt (Joseph). She was the cherished grandmother to 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grand children, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Virginia leaves behind her sister Elmire Beaupre (Edouard) and her sister in-laws Rhéa Trudel (Aurel), Annette Ledoux (Marcel), and Rhona Trudel (Patrick).
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Jinnah and Dr. Trenker, as well as the staff on the Flex unit at the North Bay Regional Health Centre for their care and compassion. The family would also like to thank the staff of Cassellholme for their overwhelming acts of kindness during her stay on Maple.
As per Virginia’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Church (North Bay) on Wednesday August 14, 2024, at 11 am.
