Paul Tamblyn died unexpectedly, at his home in Callander, on Monday, June 7, 2021. He was 74 years old. Paul is survived by his loving wife Monique (Turcotte) of Callander and his companion dog Poppy; his step-siblings Judy Alisc (Ian), Susan Wilkins (Ivan) and the late Tony Englemanas Junior (Kimberly, surviving); his siblings-in-law Denise Turcotte (the late Les Daniher) of Callander, Gerard Turcotte (the late Irene) of North Bay and Rene Turcotte (the late Janice) of Callander; his mother-in-law Pauline Turcotte (the late Omer) of North Bay; his nieces Alexandra Turcotte and Alycia Engelmanas (Dan) and nephews Spencer Turcotte (Shannon) and Peter Engelmanas (Cassy) and many other nieces and nephews. Paul retired as Chief Warrant Officer with the Canadian Armed Forces, after 38 years of active duty. He was a recipient of the Order of Military Merit, Canadian Decoration and served in Egypt, France, Germany, Petawawa, Borden and North Bay. Paul was also known as “The Plumber Guy” at Home Depot, North Bay. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service at Callander Union Cemetery will take place at a later date.
