It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dale Summerhill, surrounded by the love of her family at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice (North Bay) on Tuesday January 7, 2025, at the age of 78 years. Dale was the beloved wife of the late Clifford Robb, the proud and loving mother to Barbara Dixon and Paul Summerhill (Amy), and loving mother-in-law to Ken Slack. She was the cherished grandmother ‘GMom’ to Ashley (Alex), Taylor (Jess), Samantha (Curtis), Brooklyn, Noah (Mia), Brittany, Rachel (Alex), Tyler and Adam, and great-grandmother to Lincoln, Kayson, Nova, Leo, Sawyer, Colton, Cutler and Cierra. She will be lovingly remembered by her brothers David Handley (Laurie), Bob Handley, Gary Handley (Lori), as well as her nieces and nephews: Kristin, Kyle, Matthew, Mellisa, James, Lauren, and great nieces and nephews: Mason and Macenzie. Dale is predeceased by her parents Edward ‘Bud’ Handley and Elizabeth (nee Grubb) Handley.
Dale was a radiant source of warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family and friends. She cherished life's simplest and most beautiful moments, finding peace and joy in the great outdoors while camping at Turkey Point and spending memorable time at cottages with her loved ones. Dale had a passion for shopping, often spending weekends exploring garage sales with Cliff or her grandchildren, creating memories that will be forever treasured.
Her life was a testament to love, generosity, and the importance of family, leaving an indelible mark on everyone who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and countless cherished memories. Dale will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Saturday January 11, 2025, between the hours of 2:00 to 3:00 pm. A celebration of life will occur at 3:00 pm in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel (North Bay).
