It is with great sadness that we must announce the passing of our Father, Ken Sullivan at the Cassellholme retirement home on Saturday, November 16th 2024
Ken was the beloved husband of Hilda Sullivan (née James), and father to Wayne, Allan and Colleen, and Papa to Wilson and Dillon.
Ken was born in the town of Rutherglen. He moved to North Bay upon marriage, building a home and raising a family. He was a hard worker, employed for decades with R.A. Warren Equipment where he had the opportunity to travel throughout Canada and the United States. But he also took the opportunity to enjoy life... playing Bluegrass music, gardening, watching hockey, football and NASCAR. The stories of his travels and his unique humour were always appreciated.
Although Ken had health problems later in life, he continued to bring joy to those he interacted with.
Ken will be sadly missed by his siblings Wesley (Ruth), Bobby(Roseanne) Stanley (Cheryl) and Lorna (Barry). He was predeceased by his siblings Garry (Barbara) and Beverly (Jim).
He was also predeceased by his wife Hilda, but she continued to be in his Heart and thoughts until the end.
A service will be held at Martyn Funeral Home (North Bay) on December 6th, 2024. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 12:00, with the Memorial Service at 12noon, followed by a reception.
