It is with broken hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Glen Smith on March 30, 2017 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 80 years. Dearly loved father of Beth Smith (Steve Pearson-predeceased), Richard Smith (Vanessa) and Bonnie Matchett (Terry). Cherished grandpa of Tyler and Amanda Matchett.  Dear brother of Murvin (Dora). Fondly remembered by his extended family and friends. Glen is predeceased by his parents; Benjamin and Louise Smith. Dad will be always remembered for his quirky sense of humor and his witty comments. He served with great pride in the Canadian Air Force as an Air System Technician from 1956- 1986. In Dad’s earlier years, he enjoyed golfing, playing darts and lottery tickets. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A spring burial will be announced at Kirkland Lake Cemetery.
