The family announces with sadness the passing of Bernadette Yvonne Marie SanCartier, in Sudbury, Tuesday, November 12, 2024, when she went home to Jesus. Last surviving child of the late Napoleon SanCartier and the late Leda SanCartier (nee Perron). Also predeceased by her siblings Armand, Patricia, Laurienne, Lucille, Beatrice, Pearl (aka Sandy) Paul, Lola, Gert, Ronald, Robert (aka Chink M.I.A.) and Patrick (aka Rick). Survived by her sister-in-law Rachel (Rick), and many nieces and nephews.

Special Aunt, friend and spiritual advisor to Nancy.

Aunt Bernadette took care of many of her nieces and nephews as well as her parents in their later years. She was a member of Christ the King Parish, the Little Servants of Christ the King and many ministries. A true Prayer Warrior.

Aunt Bernadette worked for Bell Telephone in Espanola, Denison Mines in Elliot Lake and Laurentian University in Sudbury

Special thanks to Patricia who took care of her Aunt Bernadette all summer.

Bill, Sheila and Nurse Lindsay, the staff at Red Oak Villa and Health Sciences North, you all went above and beyond.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday November 23, 2024, at Christ the King, at 10:00 am.
