SAMUELS, Steven

Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of his family at the Health Sciences North (Sudbury) on October 26, 2022 at the age of 77 years. Steven was the beloved spouse of 45 years, Bernice Aubin and the loving father to Crystal MacKenzie-Trahan (Steven). He was a devoted grandfather to Tanika Norton. Steven is also survived by three sisters, Judith Baril (Pierre), Susan Lupien (late Rene’) and Wendy Loland-Samuels, one brother Tim Samuels (Susan). He was predeceased by his parents Victor Samuels Sr and Lucy Samuels, two brothers, Victor Samuels Jr and Rodney Samuels. As per Steven’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held for family and friends at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada or The Kidney Foundation of Canada – Ontario Branch would be gratefully acknowledged by Steven’s family.
