Saini, Amelia (Cundari)

(Jan. 3, 1918 – Jan. 27, 2016) - Passed away surrounded by her loving family at the North Bay Regional Health Centre in her 98th year. Loving mother to her children Peter, Tony (Claire – deceased), Jim (Sue), Richard (Cathy), Mary & Lucy. Also survived by her sisters Loretta & Rita Cundari and Laura Campigotto. Grandmother to 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband Michael (1960); her daughter Josephine, granddaughter Tracy and by her brothers Fred, Louis, Joseph, Tony, Geno, Jim and Fr. Michael Cundari, C.R. and by her sisters Lena Defonzo, Mary Colantanio and Rose Celentano. She will be remembered for her warm smile, her kindness to all who met her. She enjoyed life to the fullest with her family, relatives & friends. Our home was the hub of many events and dinners and she welcomed everyone with love & kindness. We want to thank Dr. Oyeniran and the staff at the North Bay Regional Health Centre, with special thanks to Fr. Tony Man-Son-Hing and Fr. Trevor Scarfone for their presence and consoling words. The family will be receiving relatives & friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd, on Sunday January 31st from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday February 1st at St Peter the Apostle Church at 10:30 am. Interment alongside her husband at St Mary’s Cemetery. Donations in memory of Amelia to the Fr. Mike Cundari Bursary Fund or the St Peter the Apostle Needy Fund will be gratefully acknowledged by her family.
