It is with profound sadness that Pierre’s family announces his unexpected passing on Tuesday December 5, 2023 at the age of 69 years.
He leaves behind his children Rebecca (Michael) Holyman and Michel (Tessa) Renaud, as well as his seven grandchildren whom he loved fiercely. Gabriel, Grace, Faith, Meaghan, Ava, Vander and Keaton will forever cherish the memories they have with their Pépère.
Son of the late Léo and Thérèse (née Thibert) Renaud of Sudbury. Dear brother of six beautiful sisters - Lorraine Renaud-Carpenter (Robert), Francine Renaud, Louise Renaud-Cardinal (Cart), Liette Renaud, Monique Renaud (Claude) and pre-deceased by Angèle Renaud. Pierre has now been reunited with his best friend and twin brother Paul Renaud, whom he had missed every day since his passing in October 2009.
Those who were blessed to know Pierre, knew him to be one of the most generous and loving people. He loved with his whole heart, a heart that was overflowing with pride for his children and grandchildren. Although immobility these recent years had prevented him from enjoying the things he loved to do, the family will take comfort in knowing that Pierre and Paul will be making up for lost time. They will surely enjoy the limitless fishing and hunting.
As per Pierre’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private celebration of life will be held with family this coming summer.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Operation Smile Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
