Pyke, John “Ed”

Peacefully passed away at London Health Sciences-University Hospital , surrounded by his family on January 30, 2014 at the age of 58 years. Dearly loved father of Amanda Pyke (Paul), Tanya Pyke (Aaron) and Adria Taylor (Michael). Devoted grandpa of Elisabeth, Chloé and Aiden. Dear brother of Joey Pyke, David Pyke (Lynda), Cathy Bisson (Bobby), Ernie Pyke (Debbie) and Darren Pyke. Ed was pedeceased by his parents Alexander and Pat Pyke. Ed spent over 30 years working for the Canadian Armed Forces. Memorial service will be celebrated at the 22 Wing Chapel (29 Sterling Ave) on Friday at 12 noon. A gathering will follow at the All Ranks (Blue Room) from 1 - 4 p.m. Interment will take place in Glace Bay Nova Scotia in the summer of 2014.
