Passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday October 3, 2023 at the age of 60.
Loving father of Samantha (Andrew) and Cody (Candace). Proud pepere to his grandchildren Mya and Meelah Filiatrault and Cameron and Caden Poitras. He will be forever remembered by his best friend of over 35 years Susan Poitras. He will be sadly missed by his mother Georgette (Rheal-deceased) and siblings Philippe (Darleen), Robert, Yvon, Madeleine, Micheline (Mike) and Alice (Steve) and many nieces and nephews.
JP was a wonderful family man. His grandchildren meant everything to him. He was always so proud of each and every one of them. Neno had a passion for mechanic work, and could always be found in the garage. During his spare time, he enjoyed playing guitar and fishing and hunting with his son, brothers and nephews, and we cant forget his love for root beer. He will be sadly missed by all who had the privilege to meet him.
Family receiving friends at Hillside Funeral Services, 362 Airport Rd on Saturday October 14th from 10 am until 2pm followed by the service at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
