Born on May 17th, 1931 to the late Ernest and Ivy (nee Young) Olsen. Leslie was the loving and devoted husband of 59 years to the late Jean Olsen (nee Winters). Loving father to Susan (Traci), Michael, Kevin (Lorraine), Carl (Lisa), Lisa (Mike). He was predeceased by his son Elwood and daughter Wanda. Leslie was the proud grandpa to 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Survived by siblings Francis Montgomery (Hugh predeceased), Fay Lajeunesse (Murray predeceased) and Gary Olsen (Pam). He was also predeceased by his siblings Dorothy (Sy predeceased), Don (Shirley Surviving), Albert (Patricia predeceased) and Raymond (Viviane surviving). Leslie was a hard worker, devoting over 30 years in the mines in Sudbury.
Leslie’s was a family man, he cherished spending time with his siblings, children and grandchildren. He would go out of his way to help anyone in need.

The family will be receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES on Saturday January 11th from 2 until 4 pm. A celebration of his life will follow at 4pm at the funeral home.
