Murray touched the lives of many people. He truly believed it was more blessed to give than to receive.
His generosity knew no bounds. He had the ability to make everyone feel special, because to him, they were special.
In his younger years, Murray was an excellent athlete who excelled in hockey, football and baseball. He was an avid sports fan his
entire life. He loved to converse and had the gift of gab. Quick witted, full of stories and one liners, he would keep you on your toes and put a smile on your face.
Murray's passion was helping others and especially youth. He truly enjoyed his time working at St. Joseph Scollard Hall Catholic Secondary School.
He had a way of connecting with people and truly cherished the bonds and friendships he created with so many . As one colleague said,
"Murray was a great man with a huge heart. He touched the lives of so many young people. He filled them with confidence.
His kindness and generosity were legendary as were his stories "
