The oldest of six children of the late Mary Ann (Johnson) and Frederick Wall, Beatrice is survived by her brother David Wall and was predeceased by her siblings Florence Flachs, Don Wall, Joe Wall, and Alfred Wall.
She will be dearly missed by all the lives she’s touched as such an amazing Woman, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother (Super Nana), Friend and more.
Beatrice was born February 20, 1929 in Hamilton, Ontario. She married the love of her life, Buck Mulholland, on June 12, 1946. They initially made their home and began their family in Chippawa, Ontario. In 1965 they moved their family to Malton, until Buck’s retirement in 1985 when they made their final move to Port Loring, Ontario. Bea remained in Port Loring for the last 40 years of her life, surrounded by wonderful neighbours and friends.
Bea loved being up north and going to her family cottage on Tuffy’s Island, where she would play crib for hours with Buck. She loved being down by the water where she would put on her life belt and float. She couldn’t wait for someone to come in from fishing with a bass! Bea loved being surrounded by family and would never give up the chance to go blueberry picking so she could make her amazing blueberry pie. When pizza night started at the cottage, that’s when she became Super Nana. She also enjoyed her bingo nights and watching her favourite shows The Wheel of Fortune and Hudson and Rex, along with her Hallmark movies. Bea got to live an amazing life and she was truly loved by all.
Bea passed away comfortably, with family by her side at a beautiful hospice in Port Carling called Andy’s House. Her family ask, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Andy’s House in her memory, where she had the most loving and caring last few days.
The Mulholland family will receive visitors at St. Andrew’s United Church, Port Loring, on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 12:00 noon until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm. Reception to follow. Spring interment will take place at Loring Community Cemetery.
