MUISE, Cécile

1924 – 2024

In loving memory of Cécile Muise (nee Latour) daughter of the late Jean-Baptiste and Blanche Latour (nee Vebert). At the age of 100 years she passed away peacefully Monday, September 30th with her daughter Madeleine at her side at Eastholme Home for the Aged.

She was predeceased by her husband Émile Muise. She leaves behind her children, Jeannine Buchannon (late Terry), Suzanne Robinson (Steve), Michel (Jan), Madeleine Daly (Peter) and Paul (Monique) as well as 8 grandchildren Terry, Angelique, Jeffrey, Peter, Tracy, Mike, Jennifer and Chris; 16 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Cherished sister of Rolande Salidas (late Nick) and predeceased by Jeannette Larose (late Émile), Irène Hako-Oja (late Arvi), Edouard and Lucien.

We would be remiss if we forgot a fond farewell to her dearest friend Phyllis Hoffman.

Our dear mother lived for Jesus & thrived among her family and church. Quiet & humble, putting others before herself and with her easy laughter and "joie de vivre" she endeared herself to many.

While petite, she had a remarkable physical strength not apparent due to her gentle nature.

Our family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Rebekah King and the caring staff of Eastholme.

A visitation will be held on Sunday October 6th from 1 until 3 pm at Hillside Funeral Services, 362 Airport Rd. A funeral service will follow at 3 pm.  A private interment will be held at a later date.
