McCONNELL, Ann Edith

Mrs. Ann McConnell died suddenly at Niagara Falls General Hospital on Wednesday, November 30, 2005, in her 88th year. Ann (Waldriff) was predeceased by her husband Charles Melville (Mel) McConnell (1919-1990), her son Ross (1938-1983), two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was the loving mother of Shirley McConnell and Gerry McConnell (Lucille) of Niagara Falls, Glen McConnell (Christine) of Callander, Roy McConnell (Mary) of Callander, Cheryl Storie (Sam Peragine) of Niagara Falls and grandmother of 27 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Ann was the dear sister of Laura Ryder of Otterville, Elva Vollick of Callander, Delta Bouchard of Bracebridge, Dan Waldriff of Redbridge and Lucy McVeety of North Bay and was predeceased by siblings Elsie Johnston, Ruth Dennison, Jim and Jack Waldriff. She was the mother-in-law of Susan McConnell and Don Storie.The family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home in Powassan on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment Nipissing Cemetery.
