Passed away peacefully at Cassellholme on Tuesday October 13, 2015 at the age of 84 yrs. Beloved wife of Tom McArthur. Loving mother of Shane (Valerie) and Tim (Anna). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Jason, Jeffrey, Nicolas & Becky and her great grandchildren Ollivier & Zavier. Also survived by her siblings Joan Wilkinson (Bob), Richard Collwell (Teresa), Lorna Garrett (Greg – deceased), Jim Collwell (Donna) and Jack Collwell (Joan) as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Ruth worked for 27 years at Zellers in North Bay. She will always be remembered for her love of her family, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Family receiving friends for a memorial visitation at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd, on Sunday October 25th from 1:30 until 2:30 pm. A celebration of her life will follow at 2:30 pm at the funeral home. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at Cassellholme for the exceptional care given to Ruth during her stay.
