Patrick Clyde Madigan Jr., age 68, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on April 1, 1956, in North Bay, Ontario, he lived a life marked by love, dedication, and unwavering faith.

Patrick was a devoted husband to Renée (Baril) Madigan for 45 years. He was a loving father to Daniel (Anne), Kathleen (CJ), and Jennifer (Tyrone), and proud Papa to eight grandchildren: Tait, Presley, Sadie, Naomi, Gabrielle, Austin, Carter, and Mila. His family was his pride and joy, and he took great pleasure in spending time with them.

At the age of 28, Patrick found salvation in Jesus, a moment that profoundly shaped his life. Patrick’s commitment to his faith and love for Jesus was evident in every aspect of his life.

Patrick was a dedicated employee at Erb Transport for over 30 years. He was passionate about bike riding, weight lifting, playing hockey, golfing and fishing.

Patrick is survived by his loving and supportive siblings Lorraine (Elmer), Mike (Doris), Yvonne (John), Catherine, and Debbie (JP). He is predeceased by his parents, Jeannette and Patrick Sr.

Throughout this difficult journey, the unwavering support of Renée’s sister, Brigitte, and Pat’s sister, Catherine, has been invaluable. Their dedication and assistance went above and beyond, providing immense comfort and strength to the family. The family is also deeply appreciative of the support from Renée’s brothers, Marc, Luc, and John, brother-in-law Randy, and best friends Brent and Dave.

Pat’s life was a testament to the power of love, faith, generosity, and resilience. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Until we meet again…

A celebration of life will be held on July 12, 2024, at 11 AM at Greenwood Baptist Church, with lunch following. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Patrick’s memory to North Bay Serenity Hospice.
