Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family at the Nipissing Serenity hospice on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at the age of 73 years.
Joyce will be fondly remembered by her best friend Ivan Paul. She was the loving mother to Steven Paul (Tammie), and Billy Paul (Debbie), and her step-children Janet Boileau, and Jennifer Seddon. She was the cherished grandmother to Brett, Griffin, Ivy, Cadence, Maverick, Levi, Wyatt, Delana, Jayden, Mocha and great-grandmother to Carter and Mackenzie. Joyce was the loving sister to the late George (Sonny)(Melanie), Joice Marie Smith, Harvey (Mabel), the late Mary and Micky Vester, Rick (Paula), Thomas, the late Albert, Dennis Kathy Busch, Ruth (late Richard), Carolyn (Jim), Joan (late Dennis). Joyce is predeceased by her parents George Loxton and Immelda (nee Hummel) Loxton.
The family will be receiving visitors at Whispering Pines Funeral Home (Powassan) on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, between the hours of 10 am until the time of service in the Whispering Pines Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 pm. There will be a gathering immediately following the service at Grace Pentecostal Church (Powassan) to continue to honour Joyce with fellowship.
