LAPLANTE, Alcide Yvon  Sr.

Peacefully passed away at his home on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at the age of 70 years. Alcide was the loving father to Beverley Chaput (Troy), Linda Berube (Dany), Elizabeth Laplante, A.J. Laplante, Jeanine Stumpe, Luke Laplante, Angus Lemure, Nina Lowe, Corey Lemure (Nicole), Mel Leplante, and Emilie Laplante. Dear grandfather to Austin, Sierra, Phoenix, Ayden, Katie, Callie, Faith, Brandon, Piper, Chloe, Carter, Zayne, Isabella, Brooklynn, and Morgan. He will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Therese Laplante and Christine Patrick (David), and a number of nieces and nephews. Alcide is predeceased by his beloved grandchildren Jacob and Ivy, sons-in-law Pierre Gagnon and Kevin Chaput, parents Henri Laplante and Aline (nee Seguin) Laplante. The family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, between the hours of 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.  A celebration of life will follow in the McGuinty Funeral Home chapel at 2:00 pm.
