Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Thursday December 19, 2024, at the age of 70 years. Judy was the beloved wife of Robert Manary, with whom she shared a deep faith and spiritual bond. Judy was the loving mother to Deborah Montgomery, Jason Montgomery, Erin Tschetter (Kevin), Dana Carey (Michael), Megan Montgomery, Brett Montgomery, and Connor Montgomery. She was the cherished grandmother to Shaw, Brienne, Shea, Sean, Braewyn, Pyper, Parker, Pierson, Warren, Magnus, and Ronan. She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings Patrick Kelly (Nancy), and Noreen Kelly. Judith is predeceased by her parents Frank Kelly and Rita (nee O’Callghan) Kelly.

It can be said that our God loves all his children, but He must particularly delight in his daughters. Of these, there can be few esteemed higher than Judy, who accepted each day’s gifts with humility and gratitude. It is not possible to sufficiently capture in words the fierce devotion she inspired so easily. Her love for her faith, family and friends was visible in every expression, animated story, and easy laugh. Judy loved nature and recognized the beauty in every star, cloud, tree, and bird. Her optimism and energy translated into joy and selflessness which she gave in service to the community by being a faithful member of the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption and by joining the Catholic Women’s League (CWL) where she volunteered her time and boundless energy. For now, Judy will be remembered and loved, until the time when we may be reunited.

The family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Thursday December 26, 2024, between the hours of 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption on Friday December 27, 2024, at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Pro-Cathedral Roof Campaign would be gratefully appreciated by her family. Online condolences can be made at www.mcguintyfuneralhome.com
