Valentine "Allie" Mary Jackson, born February14, 1936, passed away peacefully at Cassellholme – Home for the Aged in North Bay on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at the age of 87.
She joins her husband Bob who predeceased her in 1992. She is survived by her sister Mary McVeety (late Harry), nephew Tim Tanner (Ruth) and many other nieces and nephews in North Bay and across Canada. She was predeceased by sisters Catherine Robinson, Mildred Bialik (late George) Evelyn Lubitz (late Gordon), Theresa Brookes (late Bill), Sylvia Tanner (late Garnett), Patricia Warmington (late Jack), and recently Claudia Sabourin (late Leo). Allie was born in North Bay and lived there most of her life. She loved reading, sunshine and nature, spending many hours in the garden with her plants and flowers. Our thanks to the staff of Cassellholme for the kind and gentle care she received throughout her stay.
For those wishing to make a charitable donation, the North Bay Regional Health Authority Foundation would be greatly appreciated by her family. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Visitation will be held at McGuinty Funeral Home, 591 Cassells Street, North Bay on Saturday, May 25th, 2024 from 11:00am to 12:00pm, with prayers at 11:45am. Luncheon to follow.
