HUMMEL, “Bill” William Joseph

After a brief illness, on November 25, 2016 at his Powassan farm home surrounded by the love of his family. He was in his 70th year. Bill was the beloved husband of Arlene (nee Bain) of Powassan; the much loved father of Les Hummel (Jenn) and Maryanne Lindsay (Leigh). Papa will be lovingly remembered by his grandson Lucas. Bill was predeceased by his parents Clifford and Mary (Taylor) and brother Howard Hummel. He was the dear brother of Robert (Bob) Hummel (Linda), Betty Hughes (Garry), Barbara Vester, John Hummel (Maxine) and Sherilynn Hummel (Dan Beribeau). Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will take place at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Friday, December 2nd, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Celebration of Life service will follow on Saturday at 11 am.
