Peacefully passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Thursday October 19, 2022, at the age of 78 years. Douglas was the father to Kimberly Hodgins, Shawn Hodgins and Graham Hodgins and the late Heather Hodgins. He was the cherished grandfather to Jazmine, Meghan, Ashley, Sidney, Nicholas, and Abbigale. He will be remembered by his siblings Louis Day and Andrea Marshall. Douglas is predeceased by his parents Gordon Hodgins and Jean Hodgins (nee Polwarth). The family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Wednesday October 26, 2022, between the hours of 10am to 1pm, immediately followed by a celebration of life at the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. If desired, donations are suggested to a charity of your choice and would be gratefully acknowledged by Douglas’s family.
