HAMPEL, Jeannette A (nee Piche)

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Jeannette Hampel on December 15, 2017 at the age of 88 years. Predeceased by her first husband Arthur Giroux and her second husband Raymond Hampel. Loving mother of Theresa Bernard (Ralph), Murielle Quirt (Garry), Claudette Reckzin (Murray), Anita Grenon (Don), Karry-Lynn LeBlanc. Cherished grandmother of many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Dear sister of Raymond Piche, Richard Piche (Sylvia), Florida Ryan (Tom-deceased), Ruby and Cecile. Predeceased by her children; Aurele Giroux (Margaret-surviving), Aldege Giroux (Sandra-surviving), her parents; Magloire and Regina Piche (nee Lafontaisie), her brothers; Emile, Pete, Adelor, Clem (Janet-surviving) and sisters; Lillian and Amelia. Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Tuesday December 19, 2017 from 11 am – 3pm. Spring interment to be determined at St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Eye Institute or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by her family.
