GREENWOOD, Shirley (nee Fox)

Passed away Thursday, May 17th in her 73rd year. Loving wife of Ray Greenwood for 54 years. Dear mother of Tom (Carrie), and late daughter Debbie. Proud Granny of Phyllis, Coral, Stephen (Carla), Jade, Nicole and Abby.  Great-Granny to Harley, Luna, Kenzie and Kaia. Shirley enjoyed bingo, playing cards, bowling, fishing and music, especially Elvis. After retirement, she volunteered at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 225 in Sturgeon Falls. In 2016 the province of Ontario recognized Shirley with a 5 Year service award for her continued service. Cremation has taken place. A special thanks to the nurses in the dialysis unit of North Bay Regional Health Centre. Shirley will be missed, but always remember by her family and friends. A celebration of Shirley’s life will take place at a later date.
