It is with our deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Foslett, beloved wife of William Foslett on Monday, October 28th, 2024 in her 83rd year. Mary was predeceased by her mother, Florence Pangburn of Nova Scotia, and predeceased by her sister, Kay McDow (predeceased Jerry) of Saskatchewan. She was also predeceased by two of her precious daughters, Susan Laferriere (David) and Cheryl St.Georges (Marc).

Left to mourn is her husband of 68 years, William Foslett, her son Kevin Foslett (Pamela), and daughters Michele Tourville (Mark) and Tracey Laferriere (Kerry). Also, sister-in-law, Carol Smith (predeceased Ted), Marylynne Nagle (predeceased Bill), brother-in-law Ted Foslett (Vicky), Ron Foslett, (predeceased Andrea), predeceased by sister-in-law, Dorothy Moore (Dave), and brother-in-law, Bruce Foslett.

Mary had immense joy for and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Melissa (Eric), Dave (Ricki), Mike (Ashley), Tim (Angela), Sara, Matthew, Ashely (Chris), Karley, Alex, Zachary (Kaela) and Benjamin. Great Grandchildren, Sebastien, James, Emma, Brooke, William, Connor, Wyatt, Axle and shortly a new great granddaughter also Brook, Emmalee and Jason. Also lovingly remembered by her niece Shelley Burton of Edmonton.

Mary enjoyed her gardens and birdhouses, puzzles and talking with her neighbours. She made the best butter tarts and they were enjoyed especially at Christmas time where she handed out tins to all who visited. She also enjoyed telling of our time living in Belgium and France and their travels in Europe. Also her fond memories of growing up in Nova Scotia.

Mary enjoyed her career working at The Sally Shop at the downtown location and also in the North Bay Mall. She enjoyed her many returning customers and her co-workers, especially Gerry and Norma.

We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to Dr. Shulman and Dr. Mah and his staff Kelly and Robyn, as well as all of the nursing staff on A3 at the North Bay Regional Hospital, especially, Sarah B., Brooke, Ronnie and Debbey.

Family and friends will be received at Hillside Funeral Home on Saturday, November 23rd, from 1:00 – 3:00 with an informal service to follow.
