The family announces the peaceful passing of Dr. Frank Fazzari at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 93 years. Beloved spouse of Ruth (nee McKittrick) Fazzari. Loving father to Nancy Fazzari, Carolyn Canarino (Carmine), Margaret Kervin (Michael), John Fazzari (Audra), and Charles Fazzari (Lisa). Cherished grandfather of Anna, Nico, Julia, Lucy, John, Bill, Sarah, Matthew, Noah and one great grandchild Franco. Frank was predeceased by his parents George and Lucy (nee Longo) Fazzari, his brother George (Victoria -deceased), and is survived by his brothers Rudy (Marilyn -deceased), and Joe (Maureen).

Many will remember him as a loyal friend and dedicated member of the community. He practiced medicine until his 84th birthday. He was integral to development of pediatric care in the region. His devotion to his medical practice (pediatrics and allergy) was only surpassed by the love, care, and compassion he gave to his family and friends.

His marriage of 60 years to Ruth was the foundation of the family he loved. All those who knew him, loved him.

The family will receive visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Wednesday December 22, 2021, between the hours of 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption on Thursday December 23, 2021, at 10am. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery will follow at a later date. If desired donations are suggested to the Gathering Place or the Nipissing Serenity Hospice and would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Dr. Michael Leckie and all the Nurses for their care and compassion. Online condolences may be made at www.mcguintyfuneralhome.com
