ELLERY, Phillip John

(1983 - 2016) - It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden death of our beloved son, brother, father and friend, Phillip John Ellery (aka Smudge). Phillip was born January 10, 1983 in North Bay, Ontario. He passed away in hospital in Edmonton, Alberta on Sunday, November 13, 2016. Phillip is predeceased by his father, John Phillip Ellery and his daughter, Elisha Ellery (aka Spring Water). Survived by his mother, Darlene Mary McIsaac; son, Ryot Atlas Ross Ellery (mother Jessica Hindman); brother, Darrin Joseph Brunea and sister, Lorri Ann Campion (Bruneau); plus numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Phillip touched people with his charm, great sense of humour, compassion, helpfulness, love and free spirit. He was a proud citizen of the Metis Nation of Ontario. Immediate family held an intimate ceremony at Connelly- McKinley Funeral Home in Edmonton with a cremation afterwards. A Celebration of his Life will be held in North Bay, Ontario at a later date.
