DESORMEAU, Arthur

It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Arthur on November 20, 2016 at the age of 79 years. Dearly loved husband of Lucille (St. Louis). Loving father of Lise Quirt (Tim) and Nicole McWilliams (Gord). Cherished Pépe of Laura McWilliams, Lindsey Quirt and Braeden McWilliams. Dear brother of Louise Chivers (Gerard-deceased). He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents; Osias and Juliette (nee Lefebvre) and his brother; Gerald (Adela Desormeau-surviving). Art taught Firearms and Hunter Education. He enjoyed his summer cottage on Lake Nipissing and his hunt camp at Fall Lake. Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Wednesday November 23, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Paroisse St. Vincent de Paul on November 24, 2016 at 11 am. Donations to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice or a Charity of Choice would be gratefully appreciated by his family. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank- you to Vicki Brown and Lorilee Taylor with CCAC for their care, compassion and support shown to our family and dad.
