It is with great sadness, we announce the unexpected passing of Joan Cotter on March 20, 2017 at the age of 80 years. Loving and devoted wife of James ‘Jim’ Cotter. Loving mother of Jim Cotter (Jody), David Cotter (Donna) and Kim Connelly-Maxwell (Rick). Cherished grandma of Kelly, Jamie, Sandy, Brittany, Shawna, Maddison, Jack, Kate, Sira and great grandma of Alexa, Saige, Anika, Gabriel, Brooklynn, Cady, Presley and Annabelle. Joan will be sadly missed by her sisters; Anne McGoldrick (Mike-dec) and Leslie Morin (Richard). She will be sadly missed by her furry feline companion, Casey and her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents; Bubs and Elsie Zufelt and her sister Betty Gartner (Sid). Family will be receiving visitors on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday at 1 pm. Donations in Joan’s memory, can be made to St. John’s Church.
