It is with broken hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Joanne Church (nee Boissonneault) at Health Sciences North-Sudbury on June 24, 2018 in her 60th year. Dearly loved and devoted wife of Bob Church, they would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in September. Devoted mother of Joey (Mireille), Derek (Jena) and Ricky (Nathalie). Memère will be always remembered by her grandchildren; Marc, Chelsey, Brandon, Colton, River, Kailee and Karson. Dear sister of Noel Boissonneault (Pauline), Clair Lagassie (Alex), Gisèle Faubert (Marcel-predeceased), Rhéo Boissonneault (Marie-predeceased), Rolland Boissonneault (Louise), Jocelyn Bourgon (Guy-predeceased), Michel Boissonneault (Diane) and Micheline Corbeil (Denis). Joanne will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, her Dollarama Family and her customers. Predeceased by her parents; Irené and Yvonne Boissonneault, her father-in-law and mother-in-law; Grenville and Annette Church, her sisters; Lina Hotte (Germain) and Annette Guillemette (Claude) and by her canine companion Cassie. Joanne was truly ‘One of a Kind’, she was a hard worker and deeply loved her job, she worked for 16 years at Dollarama, she treated her job like she owned the store. When Joanne wasn’t working you would find her out at yard sales, antique shopping or browsing flea markets. She was compassionate, loving and devoted to her children, grandchildren, family and friends. She will be always remembered for her genuine nature, her love of flowers, hummingbirds and anything that shined. The family will receive visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Tuesday July 3, 2018 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be conducted in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday July 4, 2018 at 11am. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by her family.
