It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Luisa Cardoni on Sunday February 23, 2025. She suffered many years with dementia.
She was born in Pisterzo, Italy on August 21, 1932 to Icilio and Clelia Pincivero. She married her husband Elio Cardoni on September 25, 1949 in Pisterzo, Italy. Shortly afterword she moved to North Bay, Ontario, Canada with her family. Her husband Elio came to Canada to join his wife Luisa at a later date. Together they had two children Mariann (Mario) and Marco (Heather) She was the cherished Nonna to Michael and Julie, and great-Nonna to Elenore.
Luisa spent most of her time in the kitchen. She loved preparing meals for her family and friends. She loved baking and making home made pasta and bread. She was a stay-at-home mom who worked diligently for her family and devoted her life to them. She cherished all the moments of life with her family and friends. She gave of herself unselfishly to her family and tried to provide for all their needs.
She had a knack for creating unique and family sayings. Her humor was enjoyed by all. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.
She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren her brother Frank Pincivero (Marisa), sister-in-law’s Mimma Pincivero and Romana Cardoni. In addition, she had numerous nieces and nephews.
