Dinty died peacefully, following several months of failing health, at North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Tuesday, November 27, 2024. He was 82 years old.
Dinty is survived by his wife Judy (Kathnelson) of Petawawa; his children Michael Busch (Lori) of Alberta, Christine Busch (Sean Bouchard) of Petawawa and Jeff Busch (Deni Johns) of Callander; and his grandchildren Bailey, Brooke and Justin.
Dinty was predeceased by his parents Bertha (Storie) and Bill Busch and his siblings Delores Grawbarger, Eric Busch (Jeannette Eckensviller of North Bay), Clarice Hummel (Ron of Powassan), Edwin “Eddy” Busch (the late Helen), Evan Busch (Marlene of Powassan) and Ronald Busch (Judy of Powassan). He is survived by siblings Del Crosetta (the late Renzo) of Port Elgin, Adwina Whitsett (Paul) of Val Caron, Rick Busch (Jackie) of North Bay, Nita Dargie of North Bay, Noreen Leroux of Powassan and Glen Busch of Powassan.
Dinton was retired from Fabrene, where he worked as a service operator for over 30 years. He loved the outdoors, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing.
Cremation has taken place. No services will be held.
