Heaven gained the most amazing Angel…
Lloyd passed away peacefully just the way he wanted to at his residence in the early morning hours on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at the age of 86. Survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Helene(nee Champagne) . Loving, proud father and best friend to Michael Brear and Rosanne Brear-Pelland(Danny) . Devoted gramps to Stuart, Ian, and Aiden. He will be missed by his sister Ida , along with many brother and sister in laws as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Emree Sr. and Annie Brear (Blackmore) as well as his brothers Gordon and Emree Jr. and his sister Vera. Lloyd was a man of few words but a man of great love for his family. Whether it was riding around the yard on the skidoo with the grandsons or watching them play hockey, to sitting with his family watching the Blue Jays or Leafs, you knew he loved to be around people. He worked for 32 years with Inco before retiring to the cottage life on the bay of Lake Nipissing in Lavigne. He defeated the odds time and time again earning the nickname “The Iron Horse”. But in the last few months his body was getting tired and God decided to bring him Home. Special thanks to the nurses , PSWs and all those that helped dad during these last several years of his life . Thanks to the family and friends who came by and made him feel loved. The most heartfelt thanks to three very very special people . To Derek, Christine and Shelley from Care Partners, he loved you like family and to us you are family. Dad, we will miss you and your smile. TiIl we meet again. In keeping with Lloyd’s wishes, cremation will take place.
