In Loving Memory of Roe-Enid Boudreau
North Bay, Ontario, October 23rd, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Roe-Enid (nee Klus) Boudreau on Monday, October 23rd, 2023 at Nipissing Serenity Hospice at the age of 80 years. Roe-Enid was the beloved wife of George Boudreau and the cherished mother of Mark Boudreau (Anita) and Lisa Boudreau. She is predeceased by her parents Nicholas and Eunice (nee Meadows) Klus, as well as her two brothers Dave and Fred Klus.
Roe-Enid lived life to the fullest with her family and friends. She was an avid golfer with four holes-in-one. As a talented painter, she was awarded many top prizes for her watercolour paintings. She loved to travel with her husband, and enjoyed spending the winter in Florida for the past 30 years. She touched the lives of everyone she met with her warmth, compassion and always with her beautiful smile. She had an incredible passion for life, always wanting to try new things – whether it was a recipe, an art technique or the latest tech – and she had the ability to make everyone around her feel that same passion.
In her role as a devoted wife, Roe-Enid exemplified the true meaning of partnership. Her love for her husband was a source of strength and inspiration for all who knew them. Together, they lived life hand-in-hand, filled with love and laughter, as endless soulmates.
Roe-Enid’s children were the pride and joy of her life. She nurtured them with love, wisdom and a passion for life. Her legacy lives on and they are the people they are today because of the love, guidance and support she always provided to them.
Roe-Enid’s absence will leave a void in the hearts of all who knew her. She leaves behind a wealth of cherished memories, reminding us of the beauty of a life well-lived. Though she may no longer be with us in person, her spirit will forever impact us.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to all who have supported them during this difficult time. As per Roe-Enid’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her beautiful life will be held at a later date. If desired, donations can be made to Nipissing Serenity Hospice or the cancer charity of your choice.
