Leo Blais 86, died June 24, 2022, with his family by his side. He was born March 24, 1936, in Corbeil by George Blais and Eldéa Gauthier.
His hobbies and interests included family, watching the grandkids play sports, playing the guitar, fishing and card games.
Leo met the love of his life, Laurianne, at a dance where he swept her off her feet. It was love at first sight, and she supported him through every step of their life together. Together, they had six children: Paulette Danis (Jilles), Anita Blais (Roger), Robert Blais (Arlene), Colette Grenier (Emile), Jerry Blais (Debbie) and Vivianne Ouellette (Rick), 23 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his wife Laurianne, his daughter Paulette Danis (Jilles-surviving), and his brother and sisters, Germaine Blais, Arthur Blais and Délicia Guillemette. Leo will always be lovingly remembered by his girlfriend Lucille.
The family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Wednesday June 29, 2022, between the hours of 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at Paroisse Sacré-Coeur in Corbeil on Thursday June 29, 2022, at 11am.
