Unexpectedly passed away at his home on Thursday February 13. 2025 at the age of 64 years. Daniel was the beloved husband of Diane (nee Ouellette) Blais, and the loving father to Shawn Blais, Jeremy Blais (Amanda), and Kennith Blais (Tania). He was the cherished grandfather to Moses, Coda, Logan, Clark, Kaydence, Ella, and Emerson. He will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Suzanne Blais, and Liz Blais, as well as his brothers Richard Blais (Rose), Terry Blais (Laura) and Arty Blais(Helen). Daniel is predeceased by his brothers Maurice Blais and Brian Blais, as well as his parents Arthur Blais Sr. and Mionne (nee St. Pierre) Blais. The family will be accepting visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Wednesday February 19, 2025, between the hours of 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Name of Jesus Parish (North Bay) on Thursday February 20, 2025, at 10:30 am.
