BESTER, Mike

Surrounded by the love of his family, Mike died peacefully at his home in Trout Creek, on Thursday, September 7, 2017. He was 80 years old. Mike was the beloved husband of Joyce (Brake) of Trout Creek and much-loved father of Kim Bester (Joe), Jan Coyne (Ron) and Shawn Bester, all of Trout Creek. Infant daughter Maureen predeceased him in 1966. Grandpa will be lovingly remembered by grandchildren Kenny, Jasmine, Rachelle, Alex, Connor, Sam, Luke, Keifer and Tristan and great-granddaughters Pandora and Luna. Mike was the dear brother of Theresa Gonneau (Francis), Agnes Gonneau (Gerry), Ann Pulfer (the late Fred), Geraldine Reichstein (Leo) and  Gerald Bester (Pat). He was predeceased by his parents Annie (Kieffer) and Lawrence Bester and his siblings Mary Odrowski, Lawrence Bester and twins Betty and Carl Bester; survived by sister-in-law Sonia Bester and brother-in-law Jim Odrowski. The Bester family will receive visitors at Sacred Heart Church, Trout Creek, on Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 11 at 11:00 am, followed by interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Trout Creek.  If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (cheques only please) would be appreciated.
