On Tuesday, February 25th, 2025, in her 70th year, Jeanne-Darc passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at NBRHC after a lengthy and courageous battle with her arthritis, lupus, and lung disease.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Leonard and sisters Suzanne (Renee), Lillianne, and her brother Leo (Sue).

Cherished mother to Denise (Bernie), Denis (Tina), and Natalie (Rodney). Loving memere to Sydney (Aaron), Chandler (Bree), Nathan (Kayla), Kelsey (Adam), Abby (Tyler), Tuxton (Emiley), Mackenzy, and Makayla. Great-grandmother to Eleanore. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Born in Timmins, Ontario on February 2nd, 1955, predeceased by her parents Jeanette and Constant Patrie. Moved to North Bay, Ontario in 1988, She volunteered many years with the North Bay community with the legion and north bay carousel. She also enjoying doing crafts with her family.

Jeanne spent many years being a supportive wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved nothing more than spending time with family and friends. Nothing made her more proud than seeing her family grow.

We would like to thank Dr B Shaw, Dr K Shaw, Dr Khan, Dr Salituri for all the support and love they gave to Jean during her struggles in life. We also would like to thank the NBRHC (CCU staff) for all there compassionate and loving care they gave Jean during all her stays threw her journey.
