Passed away peacefully at Leisureworld Home for the Aged on May 12, 2014 at the age of 71 years. Dearly loved husband of Theresa “Terry” (nee Millen). Beloved father of Andrew Auger (Cindy), Shaun Auger (Padma) and Nadine Leblond (Jean-Marc). Cherished grandpa of Matthew, Nicholas, Shannon, Abigail and Sarah. Dear brother of Ken Auger (Nancy) and Donna Holoway (Don). Mike will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents James and Josephine (nee Shannon), sister Joanne McClenaghan (Dave- Surviving) and grandson Cody. Mike was a retired English teacher at E.S. Algonquin. He enjoyed fishing, life at the cottage on Lake Kipawa and going for drives. Family will be receiving friends at the McGuinty Funeral Home on Thursday from 7- 9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Name of Jesus Church on Friday at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to Post-Polio Canada would be gratefully appreciated by his family.
