A vote for making tough decisions
People of North Bay have clearly stated that they want their new council to work together to address and make decisions on a number of important issues over the next four years.
Over 12 years as a publicly elected school trustee, I have, as part of a Board of nine trustees, have had to make some very tough decisions that are not popular. Regardless of differing opinions and decisions, I continue to prioritize respecting colleagues and working toward solutions in pursuit of the greater good.
If elected to the new council, I will continue to practice over 12 years of experience in dealing with taxpayer’s funds. Many residents have shared that their priorities include growing our city, back to the basics of providing good services, electoral reform – including a hybrid ward system, fixing our roads, and a healthy and green city. These priorities are my priorities and my commitment to the residents of North Bay.
I will continue to make the tough decisions to better the lives of those in North Bay. I have a proven track record of respecting the taxpayer while working tirelessly for the residents of North Bay. On your behalf, I would be advocating for a more thoughtful, creative, and responsible approach to decision making on the new council. I take very seriously the responsibility to make informed decisions that are based on evidence, community consultation, and the merits of arguments rather than personal agendas. I would like to continue representing our community on the new council on issues that matter most to North Bay residents.
